Dr Bommas is responsible for Technology & Operations at ND SatCom. His professional career began in 1974 at Dornier in Friedrichshafen, which merged in 1988 with Dasa (DaimlerChrysler Aerospace AG).
Dr Bommas has many years of experience in the satellite communications business. He has worked in the field of satellite ground stations since the beginning of the 1980s and held various management positions in this area. In 1995, he was named as head of the satellite communications business unit in the newly founded joint venture between Nortel (Northern Telecom) and Dasa.
Dr Bommas studied communications engineering at the University of Stuttgart and received his doctorate in microwave engineering in 1974.
